With the event of Mixed Martial Arts becoming mainstream in the media, more and more people are looking to Martial Arts & Self Defense classes as an alternative to the usual Gym & Fitness routine.  At Wall 2 Wall Martial Arts we have been training and teaching in Martial Arts since way before the media hype, and we proudly bring forth this tradition to the new generations of martial artists by offering a variety of classes from Traditional Karate to Jiu-Jitsu & Krav Maga.

We all train together like a team.  The more experienced members spar and help the newest members, and although we take our training seriously, we make sure that you have a ton of fun while you get in the best shape of your life.

Adult Judo

Our Judo classes are run by World Class Sensei’s and trained Judo instructors. Rank can be determined by the color of one’s belt. Dojos, aka Judo schools, are the training locations where students practice on mats. Students, known as Judoka, wear Judogis, the white outfits many associate with karate. Judo is a strenuous martial art designed for those capable of exercising at mild to intense levels for varying periods of time. The intense nature of Judo offers the benefits that can come from regular exercise, such as weight loss, muscle gain, and a healthier heart. Flexibility, focus, coordination, and discipline can increase as well.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

BJJ is one of the most effective martial art for self defense. The reason is that it focuses on real life positions and situations and employs techniques that work against a resisting opponent or an attacker. One of the basic tenets of Jiu-Jitsu is that once the techniques are learned, they can be used to defeat a larger and stronger opponent. This is because BJJ is based on technique and leverage as opposed to weight and strength. For the same reasons, Jiu-Jitsu is also the best self-defense martial art for women.
