Christen has been a group fitness instructor for 10 years and a personal trainer for the past 5 years. A graduate of Longwood University she has her degree Kinesiology and uses that knowledge to help her students and clients improve their fitness levels and meet their individual goals
As a certified BodyCombat, Pitaiyo, Sport Yoga, AFPA Certified Personal Trainer, a brown belt in Wu Shu Kung Fu and general group fitness instructor she is highly qualified to kick your butt into gear. Don’t miss an opportunity to try one of her classes.

Pitaiyo- This pilates, tai chi, yoga fusion class will increase flexibility, strengthen your core, burn fat, improve mental clarity, concentration and focus, decrease stress, and tone your entire body. Pitaiyo is a great workout all its own and a perfect addition to any workout routine and great for all fitness levels.
Pitaiyo was created in 2007 and uniquely fuses Pilates, tai chi and yoga. It is the best of all three brought together in one cutting-edge class. Pitaiyo is also an acronym for “Put It Together All In Your Orbit”. In Pitaiyo we refer to the orbit as someone’s mantra or lifestyle. In addition to improving flexibility, strength and balance, Pitaiyo strives to improve a positive outlook on life. Pitaiyo is spiritual and physical.
Pitaiyo gets your mind in tune with your body. By emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment and complete concentration on smooth, flowing movement, you become acutely aware of how your body feels, where it is in space, and how to control its movement. Proper breathing in Pitaiyo is essential and helps you execute movements with maximum power and efficiency. The Pitaiyo journey starts when you enter class. The mood is set with the latest chill music, dim lighting and aromatherapy. The Pitaiyo series blends traditional yoga with Pilates principles of alignment and tai chi’s grace of movement. The class ends with aromatherapy and positive daily affirmation
Boxing Bootcamp- This isn’t social hour folks! Boxing Bootcamp is an all-inclusive circuit workout that will improve your cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance, teach proper punching and kicking technique, burn serious calories, and make you sweat! This non-stop workout is designed for intermediate to advanced fitness levels and those looking to see some major results. Hand wraps or sparring gloves are required.
Cardio KickBoxing- Get ready to punch, kick, and sweat your way to a leaner, more fit you. This hour long shadow boxing class will improve your cardiovascular endurance, melt fat, and tone your entire body while learning proper punching and kicking technique. Don’t forget to bring water and a towel for this high energy class! CardioBoxing is great for all fitness levels.
Butts & Guts- Ladies, you’re going to love this one! This one hour, muscle conditioning class is designed for all those major trouble spots. Butts & Guts will target your abs, glutes, hamstrings, inner thighs, and outer thighs like you’ve never experienced before. Come feel the burn and walk away with tighter, perkier glutes, flatter abs, and smaller thighs.
