On March 30, 2013 we held our semi-annual promotions during which time we had the pleasure of promoting over 30 of students, the youngest just 5 years old the oldest 52 years young.
One of the biggest honors an instructor can experience is promoting his students to the rank of Black Belt (Shodan). When that student also happens to be one of your best friends it is an even greater honor.
Who hasn't heard for Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey by now? Before she became a MMA and UFC Superstar she was a 2x Olympic Judo Player and in 2009 after winning a Bronze Medal at the 2008 Games she visited Wall 2 Wall Martial Arts and shared her knowledge and experience.
‘Sugi’ is a former Mongolian National Judo Team member, 2004 Olympian, 2003 World Championship competitor and 2012 World Masters Champion. In 2012 Sugi spent three days conducting a special mini-camp for some of our up and coming young competitors.

Toni's Judo is world class and he is often sought out by other countries to help coach and develop key players one on one including many current US players. His record speaks for itself winning the NY Open twice, German National Champion, Canada's Rendez-Vous Championship and many more.
In April 2013 Junior Instructor and Virginia State Judo Champion Sydney Wall was selected to represent W2WMA and her country at the 3rd Annual International Judo Tournament in Toulouse, France.
Wall 2 Wall Martial Arts walked away with the State Championship and nice trophy. Throughout the tournament our students demonstrated tremendous skill throwing their opponents time after time.
